Samurai swords, Celtic harp among items stolen

Members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a substantial break and enter to a residential home in the Corunna area.

OPP Investigators are seeking community assistance in identifying persons and or vehicles used in a break and enter in the area of St. Clair Parkway and Keww Drive located just south of Corunna.

Between Thursday January 14 and Friday January 15, 2016 a large U- Haul rental truck had been parked in the residential driveway of a home located in the area of St. Clair Parkway and Keww Drive, Corunna.

While in the residence the alleged thieves removed several pieces of property.

Some of this property is extremely unique and easily identifiable.

The OPP is asking the community to have a watchful eye for the following pieces of property:

– A Celtic Harp made in 1926, 5 feet tall, hand crafted wood frame containing several Celtic designs, and 2 of the Harp’s strings are red in colour.

– A Buscher Saxophone made in 1930 recently refinished in silver contained within a black hard case lined with purple cloth.

– 2 Odachi Samurai Swords, 4 and 5 feet long, polished steel blades with Japanese print on the blade; one has an army green sheath while the other has a wood sheath.

– 3 Marantz Stereo Amplifier/Receivers

– Acoustat Spectra 2200 Mirage “see- through” membrane speakers, 6 feet tall and only 3 inches wide framed in “bird’s eye” maple wood.
