Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 34-year-old Blenheim man has been charged with mischief following an intimate partner violence investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance in Blenheim at about 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police allege the accused caused damage to a residence by putting his head through a drywall surface.
Following the investigation, the man was charged with mischief under $5,000.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and later released with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 13.
