Tim Horton’s nap leads to charges

In February of 2016, a man was released from custody with several conditions.

One of those conditions stated that he not attend any Tim Horton’s restaurant within the city of Chatham.

On Saturday morning around 5:16 a.m. police were dispatched to attend the Tim Horton’s on Park Avenue East for reports that a man was sleeping inside the bathroom, further investigation that the man in question was bound by the above condition.

The 34-year old Walpole Island man has been charged with three counts of breach of recognizance and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
