This morning around 5:00 a.m. an officer on general patrol observed a man, known to him, inside a parked vehicle on Elgin Street in Wallaceburg.
The man was found to be in possession of vehicle contents.
The registered owner was awoken and confirmed that the man did not have permission to be inside his vehicle.
The 23-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
