The Sydenham District Hospital board in Wallaceburg is recruiting membership for the SDH Corporation for the next three years.
Cost is $10 for a three-year membership.
Being a SDH Corporation member, it gives you the opportunity to:
– Elect directors at the annual general meeting (being held on June 23rd this year) or at special meetings of the SDH Corporation
– Receive the auditors’ report, financial statement and management reports
– Appoint auditors for the SDH Corporation pursuant to the bylaw
– Attend members meetings
– Request special meetings for specific agenda items, pursuant to the bylaw
Sydenham District Hospital Board officials say it is important to become a member to ensure your voice is heard in the decision making process for Wallaceburg’s hospital, and to protect what services remain at the hospital.
To become a member, people must complete the application form and pay the $10 fee.
