Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith was held off the scoresheet on Friday night, as the Boston Bruins topped the St. Louis Blues 6-5.
Playing in his third game this season in the NHL, his first since being recalled this week, the 23-year-old forward had 8:37 minutes of ice time, including 1:14 on the powerplay.
He registered one shot on net and he also picked up a two-minute minor penalty for hooking in the first period.
Before the game Bruins officials stated he is now on a regular recall, as opposed to an emergency basis.

Earlier this week, Griffith told BostonBruins.com he is going to work hard to earn his spot on the roster.
“I think you just approach it the same as usual — just want to come and help the team out any way you can if you get the chance to play in the game,” Griffith said.
“So I’m just taking it day by day and just working hard in practice.”
Griffith has 22 goals and 67 points in 51 games with the Bruins’ AHL affiliate the Providence Bruins this season.
