Pair of crashes lead to charges for Wallaceburg residents

A pair of Wallaceburg residents face charges, following two crashes in Chatham-Kent on Wednesday.

In the first incident, Chatham-Kent police say shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to a two vehicle collision on McNaughton Avenue near Murray Street in Wallaceburg.

No one was injured.

Total damage is pegged at $4,000.

A 32-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with fail to yield to traffic on through highway.

In the second incident, police officials say at around 11:45 p.m. last night, officers responded to a two vehicle collision on Keil Drive South between Richmond Street and Warwick Drive in Chatham.

No one was injured.

Total damage was estimated at $5,000.

A 25-year-old Wallaceburg woman was charged with fail to yield from driveway.
