Glasstown Brewery toasts Wallaceburg Legion’s centennial with special release, $1,500 donation (Listen)

Glasstown Brewing Company has raised a glass to Wallaceburg’s Legion Branch 18 as the organization marks an incredible 100 years of service to the community.

In honour of the milestone, the brewery crafted a special Libby Lager featuring a commemorative Legion can, a release that quickly became a local favourite.

If you’re hoping to grab one of the limited‑edition cans, only a couple of cases remain at the Legion.

Owner Todd Shepley and manager Nicole Wadsworth recently stopped by the branch to present Vice President Chantelle Bilodeau‑Seton with a cheque for $1,500, a contribution toward the Legion’s ongoing restoration project.

The building has already seen meaningful improvements, and visitors can stop in to see the progress for themselves.

The collaboration highlights the strong connection between local businesses and long‑standing community institutions, celebrating both tradition and the people who continue to support it.
