In order to ease access to Chatham-Kent’s outstanding Virtual Library, CKPL invites residents of Chatham-Kent to register online for a Virtual Library Card.
Virtual Card members will gain instant access to thousands of e-books, movies, audiobooks, magazines, and much more.
Virtual Card applications are available online at ckpl.ca and are open to residents of Chatham-Kent over the age of 16.
Virtual Cards will be valid for 2 years and will allow unlimited downloads and streaming from the Virtual Library.
Applicants will receive their Virtual Card in the mail once processed.
Virtual Card members can ‘upgrade’ their card at any time by visiting any Chatham-Kent Public Library location.
This ‘upgrade’ will allow borrowing privileges for physical materials such as books and DVDs, use of wireless and public access computers, programs, and more.
CKPL is looking forward to serving patrons in person and online – memberships are free and easy to use.
