After accepting a challenge, students from Dresden Area Central School gathered several items for the Dresden food bank.
After learning about some needs in the community, the students decided to run a food drive as part of an inquiry project.
Fran Martin from the food bank challenged the DACS students to gather food specifically for children’s lunches, as this is something they do not receive a lot of donations for.
The food drive was held during Education week and the donation was made on Monday.
