Video footage has helped police identify a thief in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police officials say on September 5, a male party was placed on probation with a condition not to possess any drugs without a valid prescription.
On April 4, 2016 police attended the Wallaceburg Pharmacy located on Dufferin Ave.
Video surveillance was provided to police of a male suspect stealing medication in the amount of $500.
Yesterday, police identified and arrested the male.
He was transported to police headquarters and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
