An annual tradition will continue on Friday evening (June 10) in Dresden, as the Pet and Hobby Parade is being held.
The theme this year for the Dresden Kinsmen event is: Fairy Tales.
“The annual Pet and Hobby Parade is your opportunity to not just watch a parade, but to be a part of one,” organizers say.
“Decorate your bike or trike, walk your pet or just get dressed up and join in the fun.
Prizes will be awarded for:
– Best dressed boy
– Best dressed girl
– Best dressed group
– Best pet
– Best decorated bike
– Best float
– Best non-commercial float
– Judges choice
Marshaling begins at 5 p.m. at Metcalfe and Centre Streets in Dresden, while the parade starts at 6 p.m.
At the conclusion of the parade, there will be free hot dogs, drinks and games at Jackson Park in Dresden.
