Wallaceburg’s new look junior ‘C’ hockey team will be out in support of the Wallaceburg Fireworks Family Festival.
“This year the Wallaceburg Lakers are going to have a tent or a table set up and they are going to have their t-shirts for sale,” said Tom Cogghe, a committee member with the Canada Day festivities.
“They have new shirts that they just got made by Screen Art that were featured in our Facebook auction.”
Tom said the team is going to have a lot of the players there to sign autographs, one of the owners and the new GM, Ritch Kanally.
“They are actually going to have a couple of their players or somebody from their organization, at least two in the pie eating competition as well,” he said.
“So it’s going to be fun.”
There will also be an assortment of vendors at the event as well:
