Three local residents will be vying for the Dresden Exhibition Ambassador crown this year.
The 2016 Ambassador Competition was held on June 14 at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall.
The competitors this year are:
– Rachael Cameron
– Emma Richards
– Hannah Badder
“Great job ladies, I know the judges will have a tough time choosing a winner,” Dresden Agricultural Society officials posted on their website.
“Thank you Shirley McKerrall for all your hard work organizing and preparing for this event.”
The winner this year will be announced during the opening ceremonies of the Dresden Exhibition, which is being held on July 22 at 6 p.m.
The winner will receive a $500 bursary, the first runner-up will receive a $300 bursary, while a $100 bursary will go to the remaining contestant. The winner will also receive a tiara from Babcock Jewellers and a photo session and framed portrait from Captured Moments. The contestants receive a bouquets of flowers from McKellar’s Flowers.
