Instead of the standard midway at the Dresden Exhibition this weekend, kids will be able to bounce around on some inflatables.
“There is going be a bunch of inflatables for all ages,” said Alicia Van Esse, a member of the fair committee.
“Young toddlers, we have inflatables just for them and than we have inflatables for school age kids. We tried to hit as many age categories as we could.”
Alicia said the inflatables will be available 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost on Friday is $4 per ride, $8 for an advanced ride pass or $10 for a ride pass at the gate. Cost on Saturday is $4 per ride, $13 for an advanced ride pass or a $15 ride pass at the gate. Cost on Sunday is $4 per ride or family packages are available.
Here are some highlights of a couple other kids events taking place at the Exhibition:
Teddy Bear Show
The teddy bear show is $2 to enter and registration is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. There is all different categories that you can enter your teddy bears in.
“It is pretty neat actually,” Alicia said.
“There is different kinds of teddy bears, different sizes teddy bear, different best dressed teddy bears.”
Baby Show
They baby show is at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23.
It is $2 registration fee as well.
“Again there are different categories. Best dressed, youngest, biggest smile, happiest baby, saddest baby and different categories like that,” Alicia said.
“It is usually one of the biggest baby shows in the area.”
