Chatham-Kent Council, together with the Chatham-Kent Engineering and Transportation Division, is pleased to offer the Beach Bus for free on the Civic Holiday weekend (Friday, July 29 to Monday, Aug. 1) for the seventh year in a row.

So if you’re looking for a break from the heat, why not head to the beach in Mitchell’s Bay or Erieau?

Also, “Art on the Boulevard” will be held in Erieau on Saturday, July. 30.

Seasonal Inter-Urban Transit Route S1 (the “Beach Bus”) serves Chatham, Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay, with stops in Grande Point, Pain Court, Charing Cross and Blenheim.

It operates every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. until Labour Day (Monday, Sept. 5).

Route maps and schedules are available from your local municipal centre or online at www.chatham-kent.ca.
