Season wrapping up at Dresden Raceway

The last day of the 2016 race season is set for this holiday Monday at Dresden Raceway and it is expected to be a packed house.

The day will be a “can’t miss” event for the track as the weather forecast is perfect and the great card of racing will be complimented by free “hot buttered” corn on the cob.

The track is expected to surpass the $250,000 mark for the total on track handle for the year as they have averaged just over $20,667 for the season with closing day always being the biggest handle of the year.

Ingersoll reinsman, Tyler Borth, is the leading dash driver at with 27 wins on the season as Brad Forward is sitting in second place with 14 wins wand Andy Moore is third with 13 trips to the winner’s circle.

Richard Griffiths and Mike Rogers are tied for top spot in the trainer standings with nine wins each while Doug Currie is in third with seven wins.

The wrap up day will also feature lots of draws, giveaways and contests.
