Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. Audry Doris Miller (nee Patterson), was called home on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Bluewater Health, in Sarnia, at the age of 92.
Audry was born in Gaspe, Quebec and was a daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Buckley) Patterson.
Reunited with her beloved husband, Harold “Haddie” Miller (1999).
Loving and caring Mother to Christine Reedy (Pat), Steve Miller (Janice) Verna McLarty (Angus) and Colin Miller (Kathy).
Adored Nanny of Julie Berkvens (Rob), Shani Knight (Jamie), Ryan Reedy (Rachel), Brooke Sterling, Shelly Miller, Katie Gaulton (Johnny), Amanda Leitch (John), Kylie Lawrence (Chris), Josh McLarty (Amanda), Cole McLarty (Lisa), Karri Bouman (Dan), Richelle Miller and Reid Miller.
Cherished Great Nanny of 21 grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother Keith Patterson of Gaspe, her sisters Eva Miller of Gaspe, Pauline Grant of Sarnia and her in-laws Ivan and Ginny Miller of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by her brothers Edwin Patterson and Alex Patterson.
In following Audry’s wishes, cremation will take place.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11 a.m., from St. James Anglican Church, in Port Lambton.
Interment will follow in McDonald Cemetery, Port Lambton.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Noelle’s Gift in Sarnia may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Audry Doris Miller.
