VON Chatham-Kent is excited to announce that the Tom Mann Celebration Ride Motorcycle Poker Rally raised over $2000 taking place on Saturday, July 16 at Duke’s Harley Davidson, Blenheim Ontario.
Over 40 riders hit the road with 4 different spots throughout the Chatham-Kent area to support VON Chatham-Kent.
The bikers started at Dukes, made their way to Bayside Brewery, Robinsons Motorcycle, Bobn’ Bouys and Montreal house.
Following these stops they made their way back to Duke’s for a BBQ and entertainment.
This Poker Rally was a unique way to raise funds for many of the community support programs VON runs in Chatham-Kent.
This year’s Poker Rally was in memory of Tom Mann’s life. Mann was a huge supporter of the VON.
“He (Tom Mann) and his organization did the last three VON events here,” Bob Mann, Tom’s father, said prior to the bikers send off.
“This event is a celebration of Tom’s life.”
Tom Mann owned and created a television program called Biker TV.
Bob has been a board member for many years and was happy to see all the bikers support.
A special thanks goes out to Duke’s Harley Davidson for hosting this poker rally.
VON would also like to thank all of the supporting companies who made donations to make the day such a success.
