Wallaceburg man charged for indecent acts in cemetery

A Wallaceburg man, who was spotted walking fully nude in a Mitchell’s Bay area cemetery, has been arrested.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on December 26, 2015 around 12 p.m. the man was found pleasuring himself in a cemetery on Owen Road near Mitchell’s Bay by a woman walking her dog.

The man fled the area and police were unable to locate him.

On July 16, 2016 shortly after 5:00 p.m. the same man was observed walking through the cemetery fully nude.

Through investigation, police identified the man and last night he was arrested.

The 60-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with two counts of committing an indecent act.

He was released pending a future court date of September 7, 2016.
