Six people were arrested on Tuesday during a drug bust in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police officials say yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant in Chatham.
Approximately $1,500 worth of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, psilocybin, debt lists, digital scales and packaging materials were seized.
A 34-year-old man, 19-year-old man, 29-year-old man, 20-year-old man, 38-year-old woman, 36-year-old woman, all from Chatham, were arrested and charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and three counts of drug possession.
The 19-year-old and 20-year-old men were additionally charged with failing to comply with condition on a prior release order.
Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The 29-year-old man was also arrested on an outstanding warrant and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The remaining charged persons were released pending a future court date of October 6, 2016.
