The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is pleased to announce that applications will be available on Monday, October 3, 2016 for the 2017 round of the Community Partnership Fund (CPF).
In keeping with its commitment to encourage community development through partnerships with community groups, Council allocates funds each year for distribution to community groups through the competitive CPF process.
Groups that have projects in mind for 2017 are invited to apply for funding of up to 50% of project costs, to a maximum of $10,000 per project for Community projects and a maximum of $5,000 per project under the Festival and Events component.
The deadline for applications for this round of funding is Friday, December 2, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. Grant guidelines and application forms will be available on Monday, October 3, 2016 at all municipal centres, information desks and public libraries throughout Chatham-Kent, and will also be available online at www.chatham-kent.ca under the Residents heading. All applications will be reviewed by a committee of representatives from various municipal departments that will make recommendations for Municipal Council to consider.
