Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Kenneth Benoit, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham, at the age of 71.
Jerry was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Joseph and Edith (Denning) Benoit. Survived by his former wife Evelyn Benoit. Loving father of Deb (Greg) Kun, Ken (Barb) Benoit and Roger (Paula) Benoit. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Kind brother of Marilyn Smith. Predeceased by his brothers Bob, Roger, Ronnie and Gary.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Jerry’s request, cremation will take place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Breakfast Club or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in memory of Gerald “Jerry” Kenneth Benoit.
