Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 2-8) is a national campaign designed to engage Canadians on the reality of mental illness.

ACCESS Open Minds Chatham-Kent is recognizing the week by hosting a live Twitter Chat with its Youth Advisory Council on Wednesday, October 5, from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The live chat aims to engage the community, youth, families, community partners and stakeholders in a dialogue about youth mental health and how ACCESS Open Minds is transforming youth mental health services in Chatham-Kent.

Participants are encouraged to follow ACCESS Open Minds Chatham-Kent on Twitter @accessck and use the hashtag #accessck to join in on the conversation.
