Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 36-year-old Wallaceburg man has been arrested following a break-and-enter at a boarded-up residence on Main Street in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent police say they were dispatched to the address at approximately 6:05 p.m. on July 16, 2026, after a man and a woman were witnessed entering the residence.
The woman fled upon police arrival, but the man was located inside. He was on conditions not to communicate with the woman.
He was arrested for forcible entry, unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and failing to comply with a release order, and was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
