A knife-wielding suspect was arrested Sunday night at Chatham’s hospital.
Police officials say last night, just before 7 p.m. officers responded to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as a man was walking around with a knife in his hand.
Through investigation, police learned that the man was currently bound by conditions not to be in possession of any weapons.
The knife was seized from the man.
No one was injured.
The 37-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with being in possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of breach of probation.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
