Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 29-year-old Chatham man is facing a charge following an intimate partner violence investigation on April 22.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a residence in Chatham at approximately 6:29 p.m. for a report of intimate partner violence.
Through the investigations, police determined that a physical altercation had occurred between a 29-year-old male and a 31-year-old female, both from Chatham. There were no reported injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was arrested and charged with assault.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service and later released with a scheduled future court date of June 15, 2026.
