A Wallaceburg man faces assault charges following a series incidents involving alleged domestic violence.
Police officials say yesterday, police received information that a Wallaceburg woman had been the victim of domestic violence at the hands of her boyfriend.
Through investigation, police learned that the woman had been assaulted and threatened on several occasions since April 2016.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the man and he was arrested. The 31-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with:
– Assault x8
– Assault with a Weapon
– Mischief under $5000
– Uttering Threats
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
