Mr. Donald Eugene Strevel, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday , December 10, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 86.
Don was born in Lambton County and was a son of Murray and Norma (Robinson) Strevel.
Beloved husband of Edith (Mann) (Robinson) Strevel.
Dear father of Eldon (Linda) Schram, Norma Deschenes, Patty Strevel, Penny (Dale) Andrews and Connie (Pat) Strevel. Predeceased by two sons Donald and Murray.
Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Dear Step Father to his extended Robinson family.
Kind brother of Wayne and Betty Strevel.
Predeceased by his brothers Sheldon and Owen.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In following with his wishes, cremation will take place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or Breast Cancer Research may be left at the funeral home.
