Kings top Sharks
The Dresden Kings snapped a four-game losing streak on Monday night, with a 5-3 win in Wheatley.
Dillon Liberty scored a pair of goals, while Tyler Hotham, Ryan Malott and Kadin Ritchie also scored for Dresden.
Liberty now has 28 goals in 25 games this season for Dresden, second in the league.
Liberty’s 52 points also ranks him second in the league.
Joel Sowinski made 23 saves for the win.
The Kings now hold a 11-15-1 record on the season, 7th in Hobbs Division.
Dresden will host Amherstburg on Friday night in their next game.

Seth scoreless
The Florida Panthers fell to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday by a score of 5-1.
Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith was held off the score sheet and was -1 in 16:42 minutes of ice time.
Griffith and the Panthers hit the road on Thursday to battle the Winnipeg Jets.
Tartans top Titans in seniors boys hoops
The Wallaceburg Tartans senior boys basketball team topped the Tilbury Titans on Tuesday night by a score of 52-25.
Gabe Namink led the way with 10 points.
Eric Powers and Ben Moyes chipped in with 6 points each.
In other senior boys action, LCCVI topped Lambton-Jebt 62-32.
In junior boys hoops, LCCVI topped the Cardinals 47-35.
