A driver was clocked going 115 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in Lambton County.
OPP officials say on January 3, at approximately 8:20 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop for speeding in excess of 65 Km/Hr over the speed limit in a posted 50 Km/Hr zone on Main Street in Thedford.
Continued investigation revealed that the driver and lone occupant of a 2011 Ford F150 was a disqualified driver and in possession of brass knuckles and open liquor.
As a result, the male driver, 44 years-of-age from London, Ontario was arrested and charged with allegedly being in possession of a dangerous weapon, drive while disqualified, have open liquor, no validated licence plate and speeding 50 Km/Hr over the posted speed limit.
He was released at the scene pending a court date.
