The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Unit is currently on O’Neil Street, south of Park Avenue West in Chatham, as they are assisting the Ministry of Labour with an Industrial Accident Investigation.
Police officials say as a result of the incident, one person was transported from the scene for medical attention.
“The scene has been secured and there is no risk to public safety,” Chatham-Kent Police Service officials stated.
The investigation is ongoing.
The public is being asked to avoid the area of O’Neil Street until further notice.
