Arlene Rose Doan, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at the University Hospital in London on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 73.
Arlene is the daughter of the late Peter Joseph Frazier & Bella Patricia (LaMarsh) Blair. Predeceased by her beloved husband Carlyle Stephen ‘Steve’ Doan on January 22, 2017. Loving mother of Darryl (Monique), Deborah Wilcocks (David) and the late Donald and Ward. Cherished grandmother of Stephen and Chase. Dear sister of Danny Blair (Audrey) and the late Mildred Blair. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews.
Arlene had retired from St. Clair Technologies, was a member of the CWL and loved art as an avid sketcher and painter. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, March 3 at 11 AM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
