Investigation on-going after Camlachie blaze

The investigation is on-going after a massive fire at a home in Camlachie.

Lambton OPP officials say on April 19, at approximately 11:45 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the 3000 block of Victoria Street to investigate the complaint of a residential house fire.

The Plympton-Wyoming Volunteer Fire Department attended to extinguish the fire while the OPP dealt with traffic control.

Upon emergency services arriving, the home was completely engulfed in flames.

All of the residents and pets exited the burning home safely.

The home suffered immense fire and water damage.

Two motor vehicles were also severely damaged.

The OPP are on scene securing the area as the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office investigates the cause of the fire.
