YA, an industry market leader in delivering high-impact omni-channel marketing promotions for some of the nation’s most respected brands, today announced it is nearly tripling the size of its employee base in Chatham-Kent and plans on hiring approximately 225 call center associates and managers.
Municipal officials say the company is also doubling the size of its state-of-the-art office space, which was newly renovated when the YA moved locations in late 2016.
“For years, our Chatham-Kent office has been a critical location for our business, housing our highly professional contact center team,” YA President and CEO Chris Behrens said in a press release.
“We realize the quality of talent in Chatham-Kent and the surrounding area and we’re confident we will effectively expand our business to meet our clients’ customer support needs. Further, we plan to leverage our Chatham-Kent operation to scale and enable our business in the Canadian market.”
YA currently employs nearly 125 people in Chatham-Kent, and is planning on expand to a total of 350 employees by the end of June.
The workforce growth focuses on the addition of contact center agents and supervisors in support of inbound and outbound customer support.
Wages and benefits are highly competitive, Municipal officials stated.
“YA has long been a key economic partner for this area,” said Geoffrey Wright, Business Development Specialist at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Economic Development Services, in a press release.
“The addition of so many high-caliber jobs signals YA’s commitment to the region and the confidence it has in the capabilities of the employees it plans to hire.”
