Medical condition causes crash

A medical condition is to blame, after a Wallaceburg man crashed into a tree outside Chatham on Wednesday.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say at approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12 a 61-year-old man from Wallaceburg was driving on Grand River Line outside of Chatham.

Police say his car allegedly left the road and struck a tree.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital in Chatham for treatment.

The collision appears to have occurred as a result of a medical condition, police say.

The Chevrolet Cavalier being driven is estimated to have $10,000 damage.
