A Chatham man faces charges for being drunk in public, after police were called to the ER in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Poilice Service officials sat Thursday night at approximately 6 p.m. officers responded to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance due to a man allegedly causing problems within the emergency department.
The 62-year-old Chatham man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
Police say due to the officer’s belief that the man was unable to care for himself, he was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he was held until sober.
