As previously released, a concerned citizen attended Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and handed over some medals they had found, to police.
CKPS asked for the public’s help in finding the rightful owner of this property.
Last evening, the owner of the medals attended the police station and positively identified the medal replicas as theirs.
“On behalf of the Chatham-Kent Police Service, thank you to everyone who shared this information and/or contacted police to assist with finding the rightful owner,” police officials said.
“The help from everyone is very much appreciated. When we work together, we can accomplish great things.”
