Fishing gear stolen in Chatham

Police are looking to identify a suspect after some fishing gear was stolen in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Sunday, October 1, at 11:45 p.m. an unknown suspect was captured on video surveillance allegedly stealing items from a boat parked within a drive-way on Indian Creek Road W.

The stolen items include, life jackets, a first-aid kit and a fish finder.

The value of these items is estimated at $700.
