Extreme cold warning ends, more snow on deck

The extreme cold warning has ended across Chatham-Kent.

However, some more snow is now in the forecast.

Forecasters are calling for increasing cloudiness on Sunday, January 8 with periods of light snow beginning near noon.

High will reach -5°C and the wind chill will still be a chilly -28°C this morning.

Tonight, periods of snow and local blowing snow this evening.

About 5 cm of snow is expected to fall.

The temperature is expected to rise to 0°C by morning.

Environment Canada officials say the temperature is expected to reach 4°C by Wednesday.
