The investigation is on-going after a structure fire on Fawn Island.
St. Clair Fire Department officials say they responded to a blaze on the island late Sunday evening, May 27.
Fawn Island is located in the St. Clair River between Marine City, Michigan and Sombra.
“There was extensive damage to the structure and some damage to the hydro infrastructure on the island,” St. Clair Fire Department officials said on social media.
“The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. There is no damage estimate yet and there were no injuries.”
Stations 4, 5 and 6 responded to the blaze, St. Clair Fire Department officials said.
