The Cory James Mitchell Band and the Moondog Howlers are the headlining musical entertainment this upcoming weekend at the Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing (WAMBO).

Bill Wolsing, chair of WAMBO 30, is also in charge of entertainment.

“We are really excited about this year,” Wolsing said.

“We have Moon Dog Howlers coming back from the Chatham/Blenheim area, to play Friday night. They are a rocky, blues band that were thoroughly enjoyed. I am sure of it.”

Wolsing said on Saturday afternoon That Whaling Band will perform in the refreshment area from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“On Saturday night we have the Cory James Mitchell Band who actually made the top seven picks for the Boots &
Hearts competition going on after WAMBO weekend. They will be leaving to WAMBO after they find out how they placed, which I am sure they will do well. Corey Mitchell is from Port Lambton actually and they have been travelling all over Ontario. We are glad to have them.”

Wolsing said there will be some single acts sporadically through the event during the afternoon that will be set up in certain areas as you go through the show.

There will be karaoke happening over by the library with M & M DJ’ing and Karaoke.

WAMBO 30 is taking place August 10, 11 & 12.
