Police continue to investigate laundromat theft

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for help to identify two suspects after a theft at the Westown Laundromat in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say sometime overnight on Wednesday, August 15 two suspects entered the laundromat business in Wallaceburg.

“Once inside the suspects removed a large change machine,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a media release.

“The machine is valued at $8,000 and contained several thousands of dollars in bills and coins.”

The suspects are described as:

– Both white males

– One wearing a black sweatshirt with ‘OHIO’ across the chest, grey sweatpants, black shoes and yellow and black gloves

– The second suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with ‘UNDEARMOUR’ across the chest, grey shorts and black
and gold sandals.

“Crime Stoppers is seeking your help to identify both of these suspects,” police officials say.
