Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege last night around 6 p.m. emergency crews responded to a residence on Vanedie Road in regards to an apparent accident involving a tractor and farm equipment.
Police say an 83-year-old Tilbury man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post-mortem will be conducted today in Windsor.
The incident remains under investigation by the Traffic Unit.
