Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege yesterday morning around 10 a.m. emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Pain Court Line between Bearline Road and Winterline Road.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver, and lone occupant in the vehicle, was travelling westbound when he lost control of his car, left the roadway and came to rest in the ditch, police allege.
The 27-year-old Chatham man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries and later transferred to London.
The collision remains under investigation by the Traffic Unit.
