On behalf of myself, and the rest of us at Tom & Al’s, I’d like to thank the community of Wallaceburg, and the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce, for supporting us in winning the Business of the Year award for 2018. I apologize that we weren’t able to attend the event, but I’d like to say we all sincerely appreciate the support we’ve had, and the friends we’ve made in this community over the past 50 years. Without all of you, we wouldn’t be here.
Over the past few years, we’ve had some challenges to work through that hit us all very deeply. We ended 2017 with a fire that wiped out our warehouse and stock, but thanks to our understanding (and very patient!) customers, and some very quick help from our friends in town, we were able to find a place to fill, and keep working with barely snag. The support and concern we received from the people and businesses in this town was overwhelming for us. Words can’t express how much that support meant to us.
Looking forward, we’ve got some new products and programs coming. We’ll have a new warehouse to call our own in the first part of the year. Wallaceburg is our home. We love this community, and we’re looking forward to the next 50 years. Thank you for the distinction of being Wallaceburg’s Business of the Year.
