Transit service extended for ‘Community Cafe’

Chatham-Kent Transit Service hours will be extended for those attending the Chatham-Kent Transportation Master Plan Community Café taking place on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thames Campus Arena in the Community of Chatham.

Buses will be available until 8:15 p.m. to provide Chatham Conventional and Chatham-Kent Inter-Urban users attending the Community Café a taxi run service from Thames Campus Arena to their nearest bus stop.

Regular transit fares will apply and registration for the Community Café, including your Chatham Conventional or Chatham-Kent Inter-Urban bus stop destination, will be required.

The deadline to register with a transit request is 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

Chatham and Wallaceburg Accessible Transit services will also be extended for registered accessible transit users who are registered to attend the Community Café.

This service will provide bookings from Thames Campus Arena to your destination until 8:15 p.m.

The regular accessible transit fare will apply.

Accessible Transit users wishing to attend the Community Café can book a ride following regular procedures.
