The Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre will have two new banners hanging from the rafters after a successful weekend of hockey in Dresden.
The Dresden Novice Rep team swept their final series against the Cayuga Stars.
The team had a dominant 8-2 victory on Saturday to clinch the series and the OMHA WEST ‘DD’ championship.
The Dresden Bantam Rep team finished off the Otonabee Wolves with a thrilling 8-6 victory in front of over 1,000 fans on Saturday.
The win clinched the series for Dresden squad and made them the Bantam ‘DD’ OMHA champions.
Both teams accomplishkments will be celebrated on April 4, when Dresden Minor Hockey holds their annual banquet.
