Woman charged with break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning at 8 a.m. the woman entered the residence of a man that is known to her.
The woman was not welcome at his house, nor was she invited into his house and therefore, he contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
At 9:02 a.m. the 42-year-old Thamesville woman was arrested and charged with break and enter.
She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where she was held for a bail hearing.
Man charged with theft and possession
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at 1:30 p.m. the man was inside Home Depot located on Pioneer Line in Chatham.
While inside the store, he chose a tool kit valued at approximately $300 and concealed the item within a bag he had with him.
Minutes later he left the store.
At 2:02 p.m. the 32-year-old Chatham man was located, arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.
He was transported to CKPS Headquarters where he has been held for a bail hearing.
Man charged with drugs
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night at 11:45 p.m. the man, wearing dark-coloured clothing, was walking around a neighbourhood in Chatham.
A concerned citizen called CKPS when the man was observed walking up a drive-way of a residence that did not belong to him.
At 12:12 a.m. the man was located, arrested and charged with trespass by night.
A search was conducted incident to arrest and drugs were located on him.
Therefore, the 36-year-old Chatham man was additionally arrested and charged with possession of drugs.
He was transported to CKPS Headquarters where he was released with a future court date.
Man arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning at 3:30 a.m. a 49-year-old Chatham man was located and arrested on a warrant.
He was transported to CKPS Headquarters where he has been held for a bail hearing.
