Police: Trespassing, shoplifting, bail violations

Trespass to Property Act

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:45 p.m., police were dispatched to an address on Shewburg Road in Ridgetown, in response to a call of trespass to property.

After being trespassed earlier in the day, the 27 year old Ridgetown woman returned and was subsequently arrested, and charged with trespassing.

Shoplifting

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p..m, officers were dispatched to attend 416 St. Clair Street, Chatham in response to a call of shoplifting.

A 52 year old Windsor woman was located, and charged with theft, transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and later released with a future court date.

Bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, officers attended an address on Charing Cross Road where a 47 year old Morpeth man was arrested for breaching his bail conditions – curfew, as well as a 33 year old Chatham woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
